The Story of Land Art
Did you know that you can visit Land Art works by world-famous artists such as Robert Morris and Richard Serra in the province of Flevoland?
Land Art Flevoland organizes Land Art Tours on a regular basis. To put the land art in Flevoland in context, the tour of Sunday 25 August 2019 starts at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, which was at the basis of the first Land Art artwork in Lelystad: Observatory by Robert Morris. At the museum, artist Natasja Boezem will give a guided tour as we dive deeper into the art historical roots of Land Art. After that we’ll drive to Flevoland, to not only see Observatory by Robert Morris, but also visit Sea Level by Richard Serra, and The Green Cathedral by Marinus Boezem.
We meet in the central hal of the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam at 10.00 hrs. Please bring your Museumkaart if you have one. We'll be back here around 17.00 hrs.
Tickets cost € 49,50, which includes transportation by bus, guide, guided tour at the museum, coffee, tea and lunch. Ticket sales run via the KAF website.
