July 28, 2019; Southern Route
Southern Flevoland came about a little later, when the emphasis shifted from purely agricultural to habitable and natural land. This tour takes you along the most important pumping station that has drained the polder; one of the largest forests in the Netherlands where a forest ranger from Staatsbosbeheer tells a story, and four land art works. Through the Land Art culture was introduced into the polder.
We visit: Aardzee by Piet Slegers, Horsterwold, Sea Level by Richard Serra, gemaal De Blocq by Kuffeler, Polderland Garden of Love and Fire by Daniel Libeskind, The Green Cathedral by Marinus Boezem. We gather at 10.00 hrs at Kunstlinie Almere Flevoland (KAF), Esplanade 10, Almere. The tour lasts until 17.00 hrs

Later on

August 25, 2019; The Story of Land Art
During this tour we dive deeper into the art historical movement Land Art. We view the land art of Flevoland in the context of their time, other artists and developments in the art world. We start at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, which was at the basis of the first Land Art artwork in Flevoland. Here we get a talk from artist and museum teacher Natasja Boezem (with reservation).
We visit: Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, Observatory by Robert Morris, Sea Level by Richard Serra, The Green Cathedral by Marinus Boezem.
We meet at the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam at 10.00 hrs (bus leaves from the Paulus Potterstraat side). The tour lasts until 17.00 hrs

September 29, 2019; All nine
Can't choose or don't want to miss anything? Once a season we visit all nine land art projects in one day. Along the way the guide tells you everything about the artworks, and there is plenty of time for questions and discussion. With a lunch break at a rural location to catch your breath, and a strong cup of soup at the end of the afternoon.
During the tour we will get a talk from art historian Anja Novak, lecturer in modern and contemporary art at the University of Amsterdam.
We gather at 9.30 hrs at Kunstlinie Almere Flevoland (KAF), Esplanade 10, Almere. The tour lasts until around 19.30 hrs. Ticket sales run via the KAF website
