2022: Observatorium - Studenten Piet Zwart Instituut

On Sunday 5 June, students from the Master Interior Architecture: Research + Design (MIARD) programme of the Piet Zwart Institute/Willem de Kooning Academy (Rotterdam) will be present in Observatory. Their projects stem from a course by Studio Ossidiana in which, in the context of Flevoland being the largest land reclamation project in the world, the students were asked to develop new spatial relationships between people, plants, animals and minerals. Expect: terrariums, magnifying glasses, kaleidoscopes, pipelines, and tools that allow you to make a drawing while moving through the landscape. The participating students are: Isabella Fiorante, Ruth González García, Andreas Höfert, Daniel de Jong, Maya Kumari, Blise Orr, Pascale Ritter, Paulina Sycha, Julia Woch, Miriam Zanzinger.

WHO

The Master Interior Architecture: Research + Design (MIARD) at the Piet Zwart Institute is a postgraduate course that is part of the Willem de Kooning Academy at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. Ten master students will be present in Observatory on Sunday. Their programme is the result of a teaching programme by Studio Ossidiana, known from M.'s art pavilion at the Floriade.
