Nowhere in the world is there so much land art in one place as in Flevoland. Discover the landscape artworks and experience the vast polder landscape in an entirely different way. In 2021, the Land Art Tours will take place on the last Sundays of the months of August, September and October. The tours take visitors along all nine landscape artworks: the entire collection of Land Art Flevoland. Every tour starts at a different location; on 26 September, the tour starts in Lelystad and on 31 October in Dronten.

XL tour Land Art Flevoland from Lelystad

(Re)discover the unique Land Art of Flevoland. During this XL bus tour, our enthusiastic guide will take you along all of the nine landscape artworks of Flevoland. Get to know the stories behind the works of art, and change the way you look at the art and landscape of Flevoland forever.

The tour starts in the morning at 9.30 in Almere. We will be visiting: Polderland Garden of Love and Fire by Daniel Libeskind, Exposure by Antony Gormley, Observatorium by Robert Morris, Deltawerk// by RAAAF & Atelier de Lyon, PIER+HORIZON by Paul de Kort, Riff, PD#18245 by Bob Gramsma, Sea Level by Richard Serra, Aardzee by Piet Slegers and De Groene Kathedraal by Marinus Boezem.

During the tour, an experienced guide will provide information on the works of art in question, the reason why precisely they were installed in Flevoland, as well as the history of the area. At noon, a lunch will be provided along with a cup of hearty soup at the end of the afternoon. Around 19.30/20.00 hours the bus will arrive back in Almere.
