Land Art Weekend 2023

Reflection on Land Art Weekend 2023

The Land Art Weekend 2023 on June 3 and 4 was a great success! Visitors at all locations were greeted by enthusiastic guides ready to answer their questions. The weekend offered a varied program with activities for both art lovers and those who enjoy being active.

In Almere, visitors could view projects by art academy students at Polderland Garden of Love and Fire, and participate in odaka yoga classes at De Groene Kathedraal. In Biddinghuizen, participants enjoyed a workshop where they could create their own mini-Riff at Bob Gramsma's artwork. The Noordoostpolder also offered various activities: at Deltawerk in Marknesse, Erwin Budding provided valuable photography tips, while visitors in Kraggenburg at PIER+HORIZON could listen to and contribute to a story about the day and place.
Lelystad was also a vibrant location with stories at Exposure, musical performances in the Observatorium, and a special experience on the Houtribdijk at Engelen/Angels.

The weekend once again showcased the unique combination of what landscape artworks and nature in Flevoland have to offer.
