Saturday 5 June, 12.00-14.00 hrs
Sunday 6 June, 12.00-14.00 hrs
“Since the unveiling of the landscape artwork Riff, PD#18245 by artist Bob Gramsma, I have been fascinated by this fantastic work. It evokes all kinds of images, thoughts and emotions in me that will lead to a new story, to be published on Saturday 23 October. I am inspired by the location, the artwork and old Zuiderzee legends. At the moment the research into my new story is still in full swing. I think it is fantastic to tell about it now and to hear which thoughts and emotions come to your mind. Perhaps these are ingredients that I will use in my story. I would like to hear from you."
Gert Talens is a training teacher at the teacher training college at Saxion University of Applied Sciences in Deventer. He also writes and tells stories about various subjects. He is happy to tell these at festivals and parties. Every week he publishes a short story on his website www.gertspeelt.com

"It is not only a tribute to the work of Piet Slegers in recognizing certain forms in his work and highlighting them. It is also a search for humans and their movements in the landscape."

Sanne van Balen graduated in 2020 from the Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Image & Language department. Before that, she studied Dutch Literature at the University of Amsterdam (2016) and obtained the honors program certificate for the Art & Research program of the UvA and the Gerrit Rietveld Academie (2016). Jolle Roelofs @ Sea Level

Sunday 6 June, 13.00-15.00 hrs
Jolle Roelofs is a composer, theater maker and sound designer. As a freelance composer he has worked for, among others, Het Nationale Theater and Dutch Vinex Wonder Boys and he works with various theater directors from all over the country. His fascination with sound is just as great as when he was little. Any existing sound is music to his ears, so he molds it for the listener to make it a musical experience for everyone. At the end of September 2021, he will realize a land art experience on the Knardijk, called Slapende Dijk, together with Dingeman Deijs, architect. The Knardijk has undergone many transformations and it's possible to experience that through this installation. During this weekend Roelofs will give a sneak peek behind the scenes of how he is making music for the Slapende Dijk and he will be able to tell you more about this exciting project.

In 2019 I passed on the torch to my successor and that year my collection of poems about Lelystad was published. My great loves are music and literature, especially poetry. With my band Lakmoes, created under the name Poetrio in my years as a city poet, I combine these two loves. I am keyboardist / songwriter in country band The Wild Hunt. "
Thomas Gerla is present in the Observatorium and occasionally recites a poem spontaneously, including about the work of art itself.
